Learning Curve

As we were finishing lunch today, I informed Kyle that we were going to have some preschool time afterwards.

Looking at me, he asked, "Why?"

I informed him that we were going to work on his numbers, letters, and writing his name so that he "could get smarter."

He looked at me for a minute, sizing me up. Then, as if I'd committed some horrific offense, he accusingly said, "Hey! You're trying to teach me kindergarten!"

Oh, the things I put that poor boy through...
